My Family story

I come from a large family and learned the value of hard work as a young man on the farm in Southern Utah. Country life required dedication, perseverance, and responsibility—often in the midst of drudgery. This training served me well, however. Many times throughout my life, these experiences made all the difference and helped determine the success of business or personal ventures. I like to think that as a result of this upbringing I refused to quit when prospects seem bleak and the outcome uncertain. As a result, I was able to serve a mission, graduate from Brigham Young University and launch a successful business. My most important role, however, is husband and father. I saw my sweetheart on the dance floor. She swept me off my feet the night we met and continues to do so every day of my life. We have been blessed with five beautiful daughters and a sturdy son. Grand children are beginning to join our family and bring joy and happiness that is commensurate with the really good things in life. Family is the focus of my life and their happiness and welfare the drive for all that I do. We have always tried to teach our children the importance of hard work and the benefits derived therefrom. We provide opportunities for them to grow and develop their talents just as my parents did for me.
We can learn a lot from others and those who we rub shoulders with regularly. Today with the miracle of media, we celebrate the good and extend the love story of life with the important people in our lives. We all desperately need others who don't just hear but really listen. Those are the moments we extend and live for.
Have you completed your generations project yet? Start now. It will change your life.
